The current Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, is one of the biggest stars in the WWE. She plays an important part in not only on Raw but on the overall programming as well. Although it is hard to win Mami’s approval, she was recently impressed by a betrayal that took place on NXT.

The 26-year-old superstar took to X and applauded Carmelo Hayes for his vicious attack and betrayal of his best friend, Trick Williams. Rhea also shares a little bit of history with Williams, as the latter beat ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio to win the NXT North American title in October.

On NXT’s premium live event, Vengeance Day, Williams had to do double duty to win all the gold. First, he had to participate in the Dusty Cup Classic tag team tournament with Hayes. However, they could not win due to the ongoing misunderstanding between the pair.

He also failed to capture the NXT Championship from Ilja Dragunov, despite constant interference from Hayes. However, after the match, the 29-year-old superstar viciously attacked Williams from behind and leveled several chair shots to further damage his knee. Melo was jealous of his former best friend’s success, as Willams became the fan favorite with his charisma and talent.

Hayes even insulted and mocked Williams next week and even attacked several superstars, including NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. It will be interesting to see whether Hayes will be able to capture the NXT title again or whether Trick Williams will return and take his revenge. 

Rhea Ripley responds to Cody Rhodes’ message on social media

Rhea Ripley has her eyes on every little thing that has been happening in WWE. She is pretty active on social media and doesn’t shy away from responding to posts related to her. Now, Mami has reacted to one of Cody Rhodes’ posts, which sent the fans into confusion.

The American Nightmare took to X and shared a post saying he has made a decision, implying that he has decided which champion he is going to face at WrestleMania. The 26-year-old champion was very quick to respond and proposed a match between her and Cody.

The WrestleMania XL press conference in Las Vegas took place today. Cody chose Roman Reigns as his opponent for the main event. As for Mami, she has a target behind her back, as she will face Nia Jax in her home country at Elimination Chamber.
