“YOU were the one that taught us”- Rhea Ripley blames Edge for her Brutality towards his wife Beth Phoenix

This Saturday at the Extreme Rules Premium live event, we saw a glimpse of Rhea Ripley and Beth Phoenix having a face-off, a preview of what we may witness at a match at an event in the future. Phoenix as well as Rey Mysterio interfered in the match to help Edge during his “I Quit” match against Finn Balor.
The Match between Edge and Finn Balor lasted for 29 minutes and was won by Finn Balor. Rhea Ripley played a vital part in Balor’s win as she forced Edge to quit because she threatened him to deliver his wife with the Con-Chair-To shot. Despite the victory, Ripley proceeded to deliver the shot.
Rhea Ripley and Beth Phoenix brief showdown was something that WWE Universe had been wanting for a long time and the showdown received huge pop from the crowd. Edge would have won the duel without a doubt since he refused to give up in the face of The Judgment Day’s onslaught. The Judgment Day, however, being cunning enough to identify Edge’s weakness, forced him to surrender.
Rhea Ripley appears to be unaffected by the Con Chair To shooting, as she has now posted on twitter about it. Ripley blamed Edge for her actions by saying that he was the one who taught them to never hold back.

Rhea Ripley had expressed desire to fight Beth Phoenix
During an interview with The Mirror in September, Rhea Ripley had expressed her desire to fight Beth Phoenix. She had said that Phoenix is someone that she has looked up to while growing up because she was different than everybody else just like her. Ripley stated that Phoenix had a strong, bulkier physique, which was similar to her own, hence she was drawn to Phoenix. Rhea Ripley claimed that if she and Beth got into the ring together, it would be a brutal fight that would reveal a side of each of them that no one had seen before. She stated that she would like to fight Beth in the future.
