AEW superstar Max Caster from The Acclaimed is known to have cheeky one-liners in his entrance raps. At Double or Nothing, he used a similar rap to diss his opponent of the night, The House of Black. He individually roasted each member of The House, but the dissing of Buddy Matthews is the one that everyone has been talking about.

The House of Black won the Trios Title from The Elite. Since then, they have laid out an open challenge for the championship. Any trio can challenge for the titles if they accept the rules laid out by The House. Therefore, at Double or Nothing, it was The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn who took on Brody King, Malakai Black, and Buddy Matthews.

During The Acclaimed’s entrance, Caster started rapping about every member of their opponents. He started roasting Buddy Matthews, saying that he was getting ‘cucked’ by a kid named Dominik. This was an obvious reference to the group called The Judgment Day over in WWE.

The faction consists of Matthews’ girlfriend, Rhea Ripley, who is involved in a romantic storyline with Dominik Mysterio. However, fans have been loving the chemistry between Ripley and Dominik on WWE television. Caster’s mention of The Eradicator has gained massive attention.

Moreover, it got a monstrous reaction from the audience and fans online. The AEW wrestlers making fun of WWE wrestlers has been quite usual. It is because most of the wrestlers know each other in their personal lives as well. Therefore, such jokes are seen more often these days. The SmackDown Women’s Champion also got in on the joke, tweeting about the jab alters on Twitter.

The relationship between Buddy Mathews and Rhea Ripley

The 26-year-old has been dating the fellow Australian since 2022. She confirmed the relationship online when a fan asked Rhea Ripley that what does Buddy Matthews have that they don’t. To this the Eradicator replied, “Me”. The couple would also share some pictures together on social media on regular occasions. The posts mostly contain workout photos of the superstars, who have to constantly travel as they both work for different companies.

Rhea Ripley has been at the top of the women’s roster since winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She won the title off Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39. As of now, she has defended the title successfully against Zelina Vega and Natalya at Backlash and Night of Champions, respectively.

Buddy Matthews, on the other hand, debuted in Tony Khan’s AEW in February of 2022. He aligned himself with Malakai Black and Brody King to form The House of Black. They have been on a dominating run since their return from injury, as they are the current AEW Trios Champions.
