WrestleMania Saturday kicked off with a bang. Two of the best female stars in the world, Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch, took each other to their limits. After a grueling contest, the Women’s World Champion got the better of her opponent and delivered a Riptide to pick up the win. Now, The Eradicator has reacted for the first time since last night’s huge victory.
Mami posted a photo of her pinning Lynch in her signature pose on X. Moreover, she asserted her place at the top of the women’s division using her catchphrase. Without a doubt, The Man gave Ripley the toughest challenge of her world title reign so far. Despite battling a fever and a strep throat, Becky Lynch was able to put forward one of the best WrestleMania openers in years.

Given the way Lynch stared at Ripley following her defeat, there is a huge possibility that they’ll meet once again. Meanwhile, The Nightmare has bigger issues on hand as well. While she had the ‘perfect’ night, her Judgment Day teammates suffered losses in their respective bouts. Subsequently, Rhea Ripley is the only member in the faction who is currently a champion.
During the post-event presser, the 27-year-old did opine on her faction’s mixed night. Ripley maintained that she was proud of Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio, expressing how far they have come along. Interestingly, The Eradicator also linked up backstage with her WrestleMania 39 opponent, Charlotte Flair, who looked elated for her win.
Rhea Ripley opines on whether The Four Horsewomen era is officially over
The Four Horsewomen: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Mercedes Mone are usually credited for the ‘women’s evolution’ in WWE. Since 2015, they’ve broken barriers in their division, headlining multiple PLEs and winning many titles. However, over the past few years, one can argue that the likes of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have replaced them as the faces. As such, The Eradicator commented on whether that was the case.
The Judgment Day member, during the press conference, claimed that the Four Horsewomen’s era will continue to live on. Further, Ripley put over the future HOF’ers, mentioning how much respect she has for them. While speaking about the current era, she stated that she and Belair are slowly replacing them at the top as each year passes by.
After her win last night, Ripley has now gained wins over every member of the Four Horsewomen. Meanwhile, the EST of WWE emerged victorious in a six-woman tag team match. Needless to say, the future of the women’s division is in safe hands.
