When it comes to being the face of the women’s division in WWE right now, there is little to no doubt that Rhea Ripley is currently ahead of her peers. The Eradicator has redefined sports entertainment with her exceptional performance and popularity. However, it seems there is someone Mami is also looking forward to meeting in the ring. That superstar is none other than Jade Cargill, who made her debut on SmackDown last week.
Speaking on the MMA Hour, Mami expressed her wish to face the former AEW star in a match at WrestleMania. She also spoke highly of Big Jade and went on to appreciate her immensely. In essence, Rhea Ripley called The Storm ‘amazing’ and ‘aesthetically pleasing’. However, in all of this, The Eradicator looked keen on facing Cargill in the next few years.
So when that time comes, I’d love to step in the ring with her, but that’s a money match, we have to wait for the perfect moment and the perfect stage, whether that’s WrestleMania next year or WrestleMania in the next few years, we’ll have to wait for that.Rhea Ripley on the MMA Hour
Jade Cargill made an impact on her debut last week on SmackDown. Ever since she made her first appearance at the Royal Rumble, she has generated a constant buzz around her name. Besides, the former TBS Champion is also slated to make her WrestleMania debut in Philadelphia against Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match.
On top of that, getting some words of appreciation from the Women’s World Champion herself is a huge feat on its own. Cargill has many dream matches lying in wait for her in the company. One of them is obviously against Ripley. It is going to be interesting to see whether the two stars will collide at a future WrestleMania, as teased by Mami.
Reason revealed for WWE altering the entrance of Jade Cargill
When Jade Cargill arrived on SmackDown, fans noted that her presentation was quite different from that of her at Royal Rumble. During the entrance, an effect of snow falling was presented in the arena before The Storm came to the ring. Although it was highly appreciated by the fans, there was a wave of confusion about WWE altering the entrance.
According to Fightful Select, WWE wanted to differentiate the entrance of the former AEW star from that of The Rock. The Final Boss has been making an electric entrance on the shows lately. Therefore, WWE decided to move forward with a different plan for Cargill. In essence, WWE is still practicing many experiments with the entrance of The Storm until they find the perfect one.
At the Royal Rumble, Cargill’s entrance was spectacular as she made her way to the ring. However, it seems WWE will be cutting out the elements of thunder from the presentation of the former TBS Champion in the weeks to come. In addition to that, fans are excited to see how WWE is going to present Cargill’s entrance at WrestleMania.
