WWE fans are baffled at the booking right now, as it turns out that Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley might not have a match at SummerSlam. It is the second biggest event of the year after WrestleMania, and therefore, it is surprising to see one of the top stars in the company not having a match on the card. Ripley also showed her disappointment in her latest post.
The Women’s World Champion posted a mirror selfie on Twitter with the caption, “Ready for Sum… Media.” She used an emoji, implicitly stating her disappointment. The Eradicator also stunned the fans with a sexy black dress as she posed in front of a mirror. Rhea Ripley took a sarcastic jab at WWE for not including her in any matches at SummerSlam.
Except for some misses, the buildup for SummerSlam has been amazing. Multiple matches have been promoted over weeks and months, which has kept fans invested. Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor, and other storylines have been executed in a great way. However, most fans will look forward to seeing how the main event of the night turns out.
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will face each other in a Tribal Combat match. The match has been almost three years in the making, and the excitement level among fans is high. Therefore, even with multiple exclusions, fans should hope to get a spectacular SummerSlam with shocking turns and possible surprises.
Superstars other than Rhea Ripley who might miss SummerSlam
Despite a good buildup for SummerSlam, it turns out that Rhea Ripley is not the only superstar who will miss out on SummerSlam. Shockingly, after months of storylines, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch will not be ending their feud at SummerSlam. Multiple reports suggest different reasons for the match not being on the card.
However, with Ripley not having a match and Trish vs. Becky also being excluded, there are only two women’s matches on the SummerSlam card. This is disappointing, as all three women have been over with the fans and deserve a match at the Biggest Party of The Summer. According to the storyline, Rhea Ripley does not have a match because she injured her opponents.
The Eradicator attacked Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, taking them out of action in the past few weeks on Raw. On the other hand, it is being reported that Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus are perfectly healthy for a match at SummerSlam.The two will have a match on an upcoming episode of Raw.
