The unlikely duo of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso surprisingly defeated Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest to capture the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Following the chaotic matchup, a furious Rhea Ripley reacted to JD McDonagh’s failed attempt at mending fences with Priest.

Fastlane 2023 was opened with the marquee tag team title defense match. Despite back-to-back interference and assistance from fellow Judgment Day members and JD McDonagh, the champions failed to retain their titles. Instead, their underhanded tactics backfired on them and cost them their titles.

During the match, JD McDonagh joined the fray to help Finn Balor and Damian Priest. However, he accidentally ended up nailing the latter with the Money in the Bank briefcase. As a result, Cody Rhodes delivered a Cross Rhodes on Priest over the announcer’s table. He doled out another Cross Rhodes on Balor to capture the titles.

Following the mishap, McDonagh tried to hash it out with Priest on his social media. He put out a tweet apologetically asking the latter to pick up his phone call. The Archer of Infamy hasn’t yet responded to the tweet, but The Judgment Day’s alleged leader, Rhea Ripley, took matters into her own hands.

The Eradicator replied to McDonagh’s tweet with a one-word response, “Stop.” The champion warned the latter to stop trying to reconcile with Priest, as no attempts would bring back the titles. It remains to be seen whether this colossal loss creates a crack on Judgment Day, or if they get another shot to retain their gold.

The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest locked horns with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in the opening match of the night in Indianapolis. However, the former duo was unsuccessful in retaining their tag-team championships. Following the major loss, Rhea Ripley sent a one-word message on social media.

The Eradicator took to her social media to vent out her frustration after The Judgment Day came up short at Fastlane. She reposted WWE’s official tweet and wrote a one-word tweet saying, “Livid.” Mami made it clear that she was not happy about the unexpected title change.

Last week, Ripley furiously berated Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest after the former dropped his North American title to Trick Williams. However, Dominik captured it back this week on NXT while his stablemates lost their titles at Fastlane. Now it remains to be seen whether JD McDonagh, who cost them the titles, will incur the wrath of The Eradicator in the upcoming episode of Raw.
