“She’s my donut buddy,” Former WWE Superstar lavishes praise on Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has been amazing in the ring since her return from injury. The Former RAW Women’s Champion was a part of WarGames match, wherein every performer delivered a splendid performance.
This past week on RAW, Rhea Ripley was defeated in the Triple Threat match involving Bayley and Asuka. Bayley won the match by pinning Asuka, after which Ripley took out her frustrations on her. During her entrance for the match, Ripley crossed paths with Lynch and had a stare down contest with her.
This year, Rhea Ripley had the opportunity to compete for the RAW Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at the MITB Live Event. She was sidelined due to a brain injury and replaced by Carmella.
Ripley is hungry for another championship run and can be considered one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble. Ripley has been a part of WWE for 5 years now. Having started on NXT UK, she has gone on to become a one-time NXT UK Champion, a one-time NXT Women’s Champion, and a one-time RAW Women’s Champion.
During Ripley’s time at the NXT UK, she crossed paths against Xia Brookside, with Xia being the first one, Ripley had defeated in the NXT UK Championship tournament. With NXT UK going on hiatus, Xia Brookside was one of the several talents that were released from the WWE. During a recent interview with Riju Dasgupta of SK Wrestling, Xia Brookside stated that she had a lot of fun with Rhea Ripley during their time together in NXT.
“Insane. She’s crazy. She’s the best. I had the best time with her. She’s my donut buddy.”

Dominik Mysterio praises Rhea Ripley
Dominik Mysterio has been having a great time with Rhea Ripley ever since he joined Judgment Day. Dominik has connected very well with Ripley, and the two even attacked Rey Mysterio on Thanksgiving. During a recent chat with DC101’s Mike Jones, Mysterio stated that Rhea Ripley is very young but has already achieved a lot in a short span of time. He said that Ripley is just getting started, and fans can expect a lot from her.
“You forget that Rhea is so young. She’s 26, 25 … she’s my age and she’s already accomplished so much in her, in her career … I’d like to think that she’s just also getting started. So, it’s a, it’s a very big blessing to be part of The Judgment Day.”

Rhea Ripley is definitely a tough one to get eliminated at the Royal Rumble. Her most memorable Rumble performance would be that at the Royal Rumble 2021, where she eliminated seven participants and was one of the last two competitors. She was eliminated by Bianca Belair to win the match. In Royal Rumble 2023, the eradicator could be the one to eliminate the final one.
