Rhea Ripley is passionate about professional wrestling and has wanted to be a WWE superstar her entire life. However, she also shares this passion for tattoos. According to Ripley, she gets tattoos for things in her life that have significant meaning to her and wants them to remain with her forever. One such tattoo that Ripley has is shared with former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm.
A picture is going viral where the two champions are seen flaunting a tattoo on their wrists that has a date in Roman numerals. The date that the two chose was the date for WWE Evolution. Evolution was the first ever female PLE that WWE produced. Unfortunately, this was the only time they did it in 2018, and the event was never done again.
However, multiple female superstars consider that Evolution was a turning point for female wrestling in the world. Numerous women got a chance to showcase their talent to the world on a big platform. Ripley defeated Dakota Kai for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. While Toni Storm won the Mae Young Classic Tournament by defeating Io Shirai in the finals of the tournament.
Almost five years after the event, both women are at the top of their companies, with Ripley being the top name on Raw. She has been a champion since WrestleMania 39 and does not have any plans to drop the title anytime soon. On the other hand, Toni Storm is a former two-time AEW women’s champion. She is tied with current champion Hikaru Shida for the most reigns with the title.

WWE does not let Rhea Ripley get tattoos on her upper body
It is no surprise that Rhea Ripley has multiple tattoos on her body. She said that it has been her dream to get as many tattoos as possible. She wanted to have tattoos on her upper body as well. However, she revealed that WWE did not clear her to get tattoos on her upper body. However, she has a few tattoos on her abdomen and near her wrist, which were mostly hidden under her gear.
She said, “That’s why I wear pants! I got pants so I wouldn’t have to clear my tattoos because you can’t see them. I’m trying to finish my leg sleeves, then hopefully I can convince people to let me get my arm sleeves and other stuff, but we’ll see how that goes.”
However, WWE is known to make exceptions for their top stars, as seen in the past. The main event superstars are not treated in the same way as other talent. Hopefully, this could also apply to Ripley in the upcoming years, looking at her progress. Now that she is one of the top names on the flagship show of WWE, maybe after some time, WWE might let Ripley get tattoos on her upper body.
