Rhea Ripley heartbroken? Dominik Mysterio announces he will tie the knot with his real-life partner soon

Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are one of the most talked-about on-screen couples right now. The Judgment Day members’ relationship has been a prominent feature on television for the past year or so. Recently, Dominik spoke about his personal life during an appearance on the Bakers Bantering podcast.

The NXT North American Champion announced his engagement to his real-life partner, Maria Juliette, earlier this year. Moreover, it generated a lot of buzz among the WWE Universe about how it would affect Dom and Rhea’s bond. The latter revealed his experience being on the road and the obstacles he faced in his relationship with his fiancée.

“It’s honestly pretty hard doing, I guess, what we would call long distance because I’m in so many places,” he stated. Furthermore, Dominik Mysterio claimed that he and Maria were going to tie the knot pretty soon. On the other hand, the Eradicator dropped a bombshell recently by announcing her engagement to longtime boyfriend Buddy Matthews.

Fans are curious about how the kayfabe couple will be showcased moving forward. However, it seems unlikely that any changes will occur regarding that matter. Previously, the pair have mentioned on few occasions that their relationship is for entertainment purposes only.

Dominik Mysterio to be the special guest referee on NXT

This most recent edition of NXT saw a major announcement. Mustafa Ali will take on Dragon Lee for a shot at Dominik Mysterio’s North American Championship at No Mercy. Moreover, the latter is set to act as a special guest referee on next week’s episode.

The Judgment Day member has been feuding with both superstars on NXT. On last week’s show, Lee pinned the champion during a mixed tag team bout. Meanwhile, Ali came close to winning the title at NXT: Battleground. However, it was a triple-threat bout that included Dragon Lee as well.

As previously reported, backstage officials have huge plans for the Judgment Day. Furthermore, they intend to continue Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley’s appearances on the Gold brand for the foreseeable future. Therefore, fans can expect the Dom’s reign as the North American Champion to be a long one.
