Prior to her entrance in the women’s Rumble match, Rhea Ripley made her appearance in the men’s Royal Rumble match. Ripley came out to the ramp to help her group, The Judgment Day, in a fight with Edge. Edge was having the upper hand against Priest and Balor until Rhea attacked him from behind. However, it didn’t end there, as Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix also shocked Ripley from behind and took her down with a spear of her own. It was retribution for Beth after Rhea took her out with a “ConChairTo” last year.

However, the story didn’t end there, as Beth addressed Rhea Ripley in a tweet after her victory in the women’s Rumble match. The Glamazon promised to drag Rhea to hell while congratulating her for the win. Ripley also reacted to the tweet by accepting Beth’s invitation in her bad*ss way. Rhea also referred to hell as her home and told Beth that she was in her playground now. The heated verbal back and forth between both Rhea Ripley and Beth Phoenix on Twitter added a new layer to the story.

Their meeting at the Royal Rumble and verbal spat on Twitter could lead to a match, including both of them. As the story indicates, WWE will most likely have a singles match between Rhea and Beth or a mixed tag team match between Edge and Beth and Balor and Ripley. The match could take place before WrestleMania, as Rhea has to be in the championship match at the Show of Shows. The bout against Beth, whether it’s a singles or a mixed tag team match, could be the end of Ripley’s feud with Edge and Beth Phoenix.
