Rhea Ripley is set to be a part of Team Bayley in the Survivor Series WarGames match. This week on RAW, she defeated Asuka and gained an “advantage” for her team. Gaining an advantage means that her team will get a 2-on-1/handicap advantage over Team Bianca.

Some members of both groups have prior experience with the WarGames concept, which benefits both teams. Rhea Ripley, too, has competed in two WarGames matches, and will be a game changer for hear team. Ripley suffered a brain injury in June 2022, and was sidelined from Money in the Bank from her match against Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Rhea Ripley discussed her injury in a recent interview with the New York Post. She claimed it was the lengthiest absence from action she ever experienced. She further added that despite returning to action in October, she wrestled in a limited capacity owing to her commitment to The Judgment Day as their enforcer.

“I think I got cleared properly and fully the week before my NXT match [on Oct. 18] … After that there pretty much hasn’t been an opportunity for me to wrestle because I have been there with The Judgment Day and sort of their muscle. I help them out if they need me… I feel like my wrestling career is just starting up again”.

The world is aware of the problems between Dominik Mysterio and his father, Rey Mysterio. Dominik, who joined forces with The Judgment Day, is constantly harassing his dad since then and forcing him to fight him. Rey Mysterio, despite the brutality from his son, does not have the courage to fight him.

When Rey couldn’t bear the pain and torment from his son, he wished to quit wrestling, but Triple H helped him and moved him to SmackDown. Since being on SmackDown, Mysterio has fought for the Intercontinental Championship against Gunther, but failed to win it. Mysterio suffered an ankle injury, potentially during his match against Gunther a few weeks ago on SmackDown.

WWE shared a video on their social media that showed Ripley and Dominik breaking into Rey Mysterio’s house. They didn’t just break in, but also viciously attacked Rey.

Rey politely told Dominik and Rhea Ripley that he didn’t want any trouble and shut the door. But Ripley pushed the door, which hit Rey, and Dominik unleashed an assault on his father.

Dominik also hit Rey on his injured leg with a broomstick and a photo frame. The two went away by wishing Rey a happy Thanksgiving, with Dominik telling Ripley that he feels his family likes her.

It’s no brainer the Father-Son storyline will continue, with Rey likely making a stunning return at Royal Rumble to set up a match with his son Dominik down the road at WrestleMania Hollywood.
