Not only that but the Brutal One also came out to be a dominant member of the new faction’s career and the former Raw Women’s Champion proved it on Monday Night Raw this week.

Rhea Ripley recently sat in an interview on WKDQ-FM and revealed how she felt about teaming up with former multiple time World champion Edge. The former NXT Women’s Champion also heaped praise on the Hall of Famer and hailed him for his contributions to the Wrestling industry. Here’s for Ripley said during her interview:

“Edge is such an amazing talent and he’s been through so many different matches and he’s done so much stuff in this company. I think I’m gonna learn a lot from in the next few months, if not years. So, I’m very excited to be working with him and I do think he could definitely help me climb up the ladder really really quickly.”

Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest have been friends right from their time in WWE NXT. The two top superstars have often been seen together backstage. Ripley, during her interview, also opened up on her on her friendship with the Archer of Infamy and on her teaming up with him in the Judgement Day. Here’s what she said:

“Yeah, Damian and I, we’ve been mates for a long time, we’ve talked about doing intergender tag matches. For the longest time, we’re pretty much the same human, our gear is very very same similar, the way that we look at life is pretty similar, we act the same. We have the same likes and dislikes, hell, even when I lost my gear, lucky he was on the show because I wore his pants out.”
