Rhea Ripley is, with all due respect, quite possibly the hottest prospect for the WWE Women’s Division at present. Ever since joining forces with The Judgment Day, the Australian wrestler has undergone massive transformation. Her current gimmick enables the former Raw Women’s Champion to act like a bada*s figure and an intimidating entity.
For the most part of 2022, Ripley fought hard to create an everlasting impact on everyone. Her on-screen pairing with Dominik Mysterio, in which she declares herself the Mami, is unrivaled. The two complement each other so well and have become quite a duo, which would please anybody.
Back in 2019, when Rhea Ripley was the NXT Women’s Champion, she revealed her admiration for Ronda Rousey. Even though they’re yet to cross paths, seeds for their eventual showdown were planted years ago. While speaking to Mid-day.com, the Eradicator of the Judgment Day revealed her true feelings for The Baddest Woman on the Planet.
“I’d love to step into the ring with Ronda Rousey. I used to watch her when I was at home in Aus and I connected with her. There are so many similarities, it is strange. I’d love to face her if she comes back.” That being said, Rhea Ripley was, and still seems to be, a huge fan of Ronda Rousey. With both superstars being viewed as the company’s top stars, it’s just a matter of time before the WWE Universe gets to see them tango in the ring.

Rhea Ripley and Ronda Rousey could cross paths soon enough
As the clock ticks down to 90 days until WrestleMania 39, the creative team must fasten their seat belts. The plans for their biggest show of 2023 are currently being worked on. They change on a daily basis without much surprise For months, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey were rumored to finally have that one-on-one matchup in Los Angeles this coming April, which is now off the cards.
People close to Becky have indicated that their supposed match has now lost its lustre and won’t prove wealthy for anyone now. In this case, The Man will need a fresh opponent to work with at Mania’39. As per recent reports, Rhea Ripley can be that woman, however, that’s not set in stone.

It was reported that Ronda Rousey vs. Rhea Ripley is the new plan moving forward. That all changed within the blink of an eye. As seen on WWE SmackDown this week, a returning Charlotte Flair ended Rousey’s fairytale run as the champ, proving the dirt-sheets wrong once again. It’s clear that Triple H wants to make his first WrestleMania as a creative director, a big one. That being said, expect some huge angles to play out in the coming weeks.
