NXT No Mercy delivered to the expectations of the fans. Not only did the main event of the night between Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton rule, but the undercard also had some banger matches. One match that is getting a lot of attention from the fans is the match between Dominik Mysterio and Trick Williams. However, Rhea Ripley was not at all happy with the result, as Dom lost his title.

Rhea showed her disappointment on social media, saying, “YOU’RE F’N KIDDING ME!”. NXT star Dragon Lee was in the role of the guest referee in the match. Therefore, shenanigans were inevitable as he got hit during the match. In the chaos, Dom tried to capitalize, but Trick Williams benefited from it and got the surprise victory.

Fans were equally surprised by the title change. Therefore, it will be very interesting to see how Dominik Mysterio moves ahead without the title. Additionally, he now becomes the only member to not hold gold from Judgment Day. Therefore, he will also have to answer Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Mami Rhea Ripley.

On the other hand, the victory means a lot to Trick Williams. This being his first title victory in the company, Williams will try to make the most out of it. The young superstar has a lot of potential and can benefit from a lengthy title reign. Therefore, fans will have to look out for Williams as he rises through the ranks in WWE.

Rhea Ripley to reach 180 days as Women’s World Champion

While Dominik Mysterio recovers from his loss at NXT No Mercy, Rhea Ripley is on the brink of reaching a new milestone. After winning the title at WrestleMania 39, where she defeated Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley is now about to reach 180 days as the champion. With her almost six-month-long-title reign, Ripley is already the fourth-longest champion in the history of the title.

The longest reign, currently held by Bayley, is at 380 days. The superstars who are above Ripley on the list are Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley. Therefore, it is evident that Rhea Ripley is on the rise to the top of women’s wrestling and will become a megastar in a short time.

During these six months, Ripley defeated numerous stars, including the likes of Natalya, Zelina Vega, and Raquel Rodriguez. She was taken out by an injury a few weeks ago when Nia Jax returned to WWE and directly attacked the champion. Therefore, expectations are that Jax will be the next challenger for Ripley’s title in one of the upcoming PLEs.
