The rematch between Natalya and Rhea Ripley seems to have cost the Women’s World Champion. Ripley recently shared a picture on Twitter showing that a piercing from her mouth was torn off during her match, leading to blood being shed. The Champion was successful in defending her title against Natalya, but the match was hard-hitting and more gruesome than their previous encounters.

Rhea Ripley squashed Natalya in a 70-second match at Night of Champions. Everyone was surprised by Ripley’s dominant performance as she continued her title reign. The two again had a rematch, where Rhea Ripley did not even let Natalya get ready for her match. However, this time, in their third confrontation, Natalya was prepared. Instead of getting attacked by Ripley, Natalya took the first shot.

While making her entrance for the match, Natalya jumped Ripley from behind and beat her down as they came down to the ring. Rhea Ripley tried to counterattack but was not successful. As the match started, Natalya dominated a major part of the match. However, the champion gained control later and managed to retain the championship.

Rhea Ripley has become one of the biggest stars in the company in the past year. After an iron-woman performance, Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble in January. She then challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania. The two had a great match at Mania, and Ripley defeated Flair to become the champion. Ever since, Rhea has had a dominant reign and is also a part of The Judgment Day.

Rhea Ripley set to return to NXT next week

The agenda to increase the ratings of NXT continues as more superstars appear on the show. After Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins, and Mustafa Ali, The Judgment Day is set to appear in next week’s episode. Recently, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes invited Finn Balor and all the other members to come and face off against them on NXT.

Finn Balor reacted to the invitation and accepted the challenge. Balor announced that the entire Judgment Day will be on the next show to face Carmelo Hayes. This will be the first time in years that Rhea Ripley will appear on the black and gold brand. Ripley was one of the biggest stars on the brand during her time on NXT.

She feuded with superstars like Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, Toni Storm, and many others. Ripley was also the first NXT UK Women’s Champion during her time on NXT UK. Therefore, the fans are on the edge of their seats to witness the Eradicator and her faction return to NXT.
