Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is on the hottest run of her career. She has been at the top of not only the Raw roster but also the whole women’s roster for nearly a year now. Her championship victory at WrestleMania 39 Night 1 against Charlotte Flair was a perfect match with the highest stakes possible. Had the bout been approached with a suitable buildup, Ripley feels it would have been more special.

While speaking with Gorilla Position, The Eradicator states that this year, she feels pressured to deliver at WrestleMania 40. Rhea wants to fill up last year’s gap by doing the perfect storytelling. In her hyped match against Becky Lynch, she wants to include a fantastic story in her Road to WrestleMania period. Ripley claims to have great chemistry with The Man, coming from their only match back at NXT in 2019.

Their last NXT match was interrupted by the then-NXT Women’s Champ, Shayna Baszler, and her friends. Ever since then, both have grown for the best and look like they would really cook in their Mania match. Rhea concludes that all this would be backed by a pinch of top-notch buildup to deliver on expectations.

Next week, we will see The Irish Lass Kicker battle Morgan and put a definite end to their heat.

While speaking on the BWGS Podcast, Rhea Ripley was asked to name her three favorite wrestlers as she grew up. A catch added to this list was to name the star she would like to face from them in the squared circle. Ripley’s first name instantly stated Triple H, wildly enough, her current boss who could not wrestle.

The Women’s World Champion also loved The Miz and CM Punk. She mentioned that it is hard to tell her opponent, as all have had amazing careers with exceptional milestones. She then compares her current momentum and looks at these favorites as motivation to reach that peak in her career.
