Ricochet has had some of the best months of his WWE career, lately. He now has a reason to smile even bigger. Well, this story got heavily undermined by the ongoing Vince McMahon-Saudi Arabia WWE sale rumors. However, while the wrestling world was enraged over the “false” rumors, Ricochet proposed to his long-term girlfriend. 

On Twitter, he announced his engagement with Samantha Irwin, who serves as the WWE ring announcer on SmackDown. She’s collected a lot of praise for her organic oratory skills. Many fans believe she is the best signing WWE has made since JoJo left.

Coming back to the main topic, Ricochet proposed Irwin to her astonishment. Then, without a hitch, she accepted and sealed it with a kiss. The couple appears to be perfect for each other. At present, things are going fairly well for both, and they’ll do everything they can to keep entertaining the WWE Universe.

What’s next for Ricochet in WWE?

The former United States Champion has been one of the biggest positives of the Triple H era. After losing his shine under the old regime, Hunter did the rightful and booked Ricochet sensibly. Initially, he won the first-ever SmackDown World Cup on Fox, outclassing numerous opponents.

As a result, he challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on the December 16th edition of the blue brand. Despite fighting until his last breath, The Highlight of the Night lost to The Ring General. However, the match was a wrestling clinic and received appreciation from all around.

And now, he’s going to the Royal Rumble. Last week on SmackDown, Ricochet defeated Top Dolla in a Qualifying bout for the traditional 30-man Royal Rumble match, which he easily won. Even though he brutally got attacked by Hit Row post-match, Braun Strowman made his way out to make the save.
