Roman Reigns and John Cena in WWE
John Cena is regarded as the golden boy of WWE and has been a vital part of the company since his debut. John Cena swiftly ascended the success ladder and won over the audience with his legendary in-ring performances and never-say-die attitude. Cena has won every important match in the organization and has held the title of World Championship title 16 times in his career, a tie with the Nature boy Ric Flair. He has fought with some of the greatest in the industry, and his rivalries were always exciting and novel.
John Cena completed 20 years in the company recently and made his appearance on WWE RAW. Many released WWE Superstars and legends congratulated the Cenation leader for his illustrious career. Since 2017, Cena has only worked part-time because his Hollywood career has been successful and he has been in many high-profile films since then. In the television series Peacemaker, John has been playing the title role and has received high praise for it. He is slated to reprise his role as Jakob Torreto in the 10th installment of the Fast and Furious series.
John Cena had praised Roman Reigns in the past
Back in April, while speaking to Forbes, John Cena had praised Roman Reigns before his WrestleMania 38 match. John Cena had said that Roman Reigns is a strong guy and has a sense of depth to his character. John stated that Reigns is a smart guy and works accordingly to his character in the WWE. John Cena and Roman Reigns have faced each other several times in their career, with the first time happening at the No Mercy 2017.
Reigns defeated Cena at the event and after the match John showed respect towards Roman. Thereafter the two have faced each other at some live events, with one happening at the Madison Square Garden. Reigns has been triumphant in all of them. The latest they faced each other was last year at SummerSlam 2021. Roman had stated that he would leave WWE if he loses the match, at the event Reigns successfully defeated John Cena. That was John Cena’s last wrestling match in WWE. His latest appearance is that of him celebrating his 20th anniversary on RAW.
Today, WWE shared a video of Roman reigns on Instagram and it appears from the video that Reigns is making his entrance at a WWE Live event. The video shows Roman noticing a John Cena fan in the crowd at the ringside, who happened to be wearing a John Cena gear, Roman stayed in the character and said to the fan that he smashed John Cena and that Cena is never coming back to WWE again.

Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in a last man standing match and will now face Drew McIntyre at the Clash of Castle in September.
