Roman Reigns and ‘The Final Boss’ The Rock has won the match and gained the advantage for the Night 2 main event. However, this win didn’t come easy, as The Tribal Chief literally had to shed blood, sweat, and tears. He got busted open during the match thanks to a certain Cody Rhodes.
The match started in a chaotic way, as all four stars tried to destroy each other. In the midst of chaos, Cody Rhodes hit his WrestleMania Night 2 opponent Roman Reigns with a Cody Cutter, which ultimately led to him bleeding from his nose. The Tribal Chief was hit by multiple finisher moves like Curb Stomp, and Cross Rhodes, but despite his injury, he didn’t give up.
This was a surprising moment for the WWE Universe, as The American Nightmare caught the 38-year-old star off-guard. The match was filled with some of the most amazing moments, as Reigns accidentally hit the spear to The Final Boss. When the match reached its final stage, it looked like Rhodes was going to win with the third Cross Rhodes. However, Rocky assisted his cousin by hitting him with a belt.
The Rock finally finished the match with a Rock Bottom and a People’s Elbow to pick up the win for his team. As The Bloodline have won, Cody Rhodes’ title match will now be a Bloodline Rules match, where anything goes. It will be interesting to see whether he finally overcomes all the odds and finishes his story or not.
Can Cody Rhodes overcome Roman Reigns’ massive advantage on Night 2 of WrestleMania?
After The Bloodline’s emphatic victory over the duo of Rhodes and Rollins, the dynamics have completely shifted. As per the stipulation, the world title match between The American Nightmare and The Tribal Chief will be fought under Bloodline Rules. If there’s one thing that’s for sure, there will be constant interference from the faction.
They will make sure to do everything in their power to prevent Cody from winning the title. However, with the stipulation being Bloodline Rules, The American Nightmare can also call for his own backup. A few days ago, Stone Cold Steve Austin shared a video on his TikTok of someone sending him a basket full of beers and Easter eggs.
The video created a buzz among the wrestling fans that the legend could return to stand against his greatest rival at the Show of Shows. Furthermore, it was also speculated that John Cena would make a surprise appearance at WrestleMania, potentially as a part of the Rhodes-led “Avengers” team.
