Long before Roman Reigns became The Tribal Chief, he was part of a dominant faction called The Shield. The group included then-Dean Ambrose and his WrestleMania 40 opponent, Seth Rollins. Despite the animosity they hold for each other, the 39-year-old star called him a former chosen family member.

The Rock and Roman Reigns were guests on the Jimmy Fallon show and talked about their match at WrestleMania 40. During a segment, Fallon showed him a picture of his Shield days with Seth Rollins. Upon asking who he was, he described him as a former family member because of the close chemistry the three superstars had.

However, the group was disbanded when The Architect smashed a chair on Reigns’ back. That betrayal changed the course for all three of them, as they soon became top stars in WWE. The Tribal Chief quickly changed the topic and called him a clown emoji. They talked about how they were going to destroy Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at the Show of Shows.

What do we call him now? A clown emoji?... So that's Seth Rollins, he was a former chosen family member, but you know how that goes.

Reigns will pull double duty at WrestleMania, as on night 1 he will team up with The Rock to face Rhodes and Rollins. On night 2, The Tribal Chief will defend his title against The American Nightmare to close out the biggest event in WWE. It will be interesting to see whether Cody Rhodes finally finishes his story or if Reigns continues to assert his dominance at the top.

Roman Reigns once wrestled for just two people in his early days

Every WWE superstar has found success through immense struggle, just like Roman Reigns. When he was just starting as a wrestler, he admitted to wrestling in front of just two people.

The host, Jimmy Fallon, asked Reigns where his wrestling journey started, and his answer was rather startling. He stated that he had wrestled in many matches on fairgrounds and parking lots. However, he revealed that the lowest crowd he ever worked for was just two people. The 38-year-old hilariously said he was even performing moves as per their requests.

Well, I mean, It could have been anywhere. We could've done it in a parking lot, it could've been a fairground. The lightest show i've ever done was two people. It got so bad I was, like asking for requests. like, 'what do you wanna see? You want a body slam?,' So it's been bad, but we are in really good place right now.

At last, he was thankful for whatever he had achieved and for his position in the company right now. He will now wrestle in front of hundreds of thousands of people in a sold-out arena in Philadelphia. Only time will tell whether he still walks out as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion or not.
