Roman Reigns had an emotional conversation with Drew McIntyre after their gruesome match

Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre in probably his toughest challenge thus far. The two modern giants battled out at Clash at the Castle in front of a capacity crowd. This was the first stadium show WWE held in the United Kingdom in 30 years and the venue for the event – Principality Stadium was just electric throughout.

WWE loaded up the card for their fans in the UK and it gradually paid off for them as well. The event received a mind-boggling attendance of over 63,000 people which we rarely see for any wrestling event nowadays. This was the second premium live event under the creative leadership of Triple H and he made sure that the fans watching should have a blast.

Reigns and McIntyre main evented the night and gave a scintillating masterpiece for their fans to ponder upon. They chopped each other remorselessly, slammed each other with authority and made sure to establish that profound enthusiasm through their storytelling. Despite giving his everything, McIntyre lost the match following an interference from Solo Sikoa.

The Scottish Warrior recently revealed some insights about their match while speaking to My San Antonio. McIntyre recalled going backstage and asking Roman about the absolute deafening crowd reactions they got throughout the show, especially during their match. The Tribal Chief replied saying he’s never been a part of such an atmosphere ever before.

What’s next for Roman Reigns now?

The Tribal Chief will take on Logan Paul for that Undisputed Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in November. Although we’re pretty much aware of the possible outcome, this feud has the potential to be an entertaining affair. Roman and Logan almost landed in a brawl during their press conference a few days ago.

They’re set to come face to face this coming Friday Night on the season premiere edition of WWE Smackdown and this confrontation should be interesting.
