Roman Reigns started Friday Night SmackDown when he walked into the ring with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman. Reigns was about to talk when, all of a sudden, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn interrupted him. This was exactly what Reigns wanted, as he was about to trash-talk Zayn and Owens. But the Usos appeared out of nowhere and took the tag team champions down.
When Owens and Zayn were down and out, Jimmy Uso looked at Reigns. But to his surprise, the Tribal Chief was furious about their actions. He yelled at the Usos saying, that it was not the plan and he already had things under control. There was no reason why the Usos did what they did. As a result, the Tribal Chief left the ring.
However, before the Usos attacked, Roman and Sami got the opportunity to exchange some words. Roman Reigns said Sami’s time in The Bloodline was the only thing he regretted, as Zayn eventually betrayed The Bloodline. The Tribal Chief nostalgically recalled the days when Zayn was an honorary Uce. “I only have one regret. And that is, I wasted my time on you,” he said.
In response, Sami Zayn said that he also has a regret in his life, and that is not hitting Reigns with the steel chair sooner. The 38-year-old added that until that point, Roman had been handed everything he wanted in his life. But now at Night of Champions, Sami said that the Tribal Chief would not get what he wants. He will not win the Tag Titles because he is not good enough.
The former Intercontinental Champion further added that Roman is not even as good as the Usos. The segment was interrupted when the Usos attacked them, and chaos unfolded. SmackDown then went on a commercial break and returned when Roman Reigns, Solo, and The Usos were in the Tribal Chief’s room.

The story of Sami Zayn and The Bloodline
Sami Zayn in The Bloodline has been one of the most compelling storylines that WWE has had in recent times. A funny conspiracy theorist trying to get the attention of the Tribal Chief was nothing less than amusement. It took Zayn some time to prove his intentions to the Head of the Table, but he eventually succeeded.
Roman Reigns approved Sami Zayn’s inclusion in the faction and gave him the title of “Honorary Uce.” This did not sit well with Jey Uso, who was skeptical of Zayn and did not trust him. However, after Survivor Series 2022, when the 38-year-old even betrayed his longtime friend, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso finally made peace with Sami Zayn and accepted him as a part of the family.
At the Royal Rumble 2023, after weeks of distrust and miscommunication, Zayn hit Roman Reigns with a steel chair. The Bloodline was shocked by the betrayal. The tag team champion took on the Tribal Chief at the Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Canada, Zayn’s hometown. He also joined forces with Kevin Owens as they went on to defeat The Usos at WrestleMania 39 and become the new Tag Team Champions.
