The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be paying his dues at Royal Rumble 2024. The part-timer, who hardly appears on SmackDown and more rarely defends his title, has to face three opponents at the same time. His rage and Nick Aldis‘ impulse put him in a gnarly situation on SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution. Despite that, Roman is still confident and claims his greatness over everyone in a post on X.

Reigns took on X to address the Fatal-4 Way match at Royal Rumble and its contract signing on SmackDown tonight. The poster shows LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles behind The Head of the Table alongside Paul Heyman. The caption by Roman states that it doesn’t matter which contenders get thrown at him; he will always be the Greatest Of All Time.

The post also implies Roman’s frustration for Aldis, as the SmackDown GM made the Fatal-4 Way possible. Reigns wanted the situation to be fixed, but nothing could have been changed even by The Wiseman. Thus, a cold tension is rising between Nick and The Tribal Chief, which could be brought to life on SmackDown. As we head into Rumble now, the focus now lies on the title match with Aldis’ involvement.
