BREAKING – Roman Reigns signs a new WWE contract

Roman Reigns has agreed to new WWE contract.

The WWE status of the current Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been a hot topic of discussion over the past few days. It went even more debatable in the last 2 days when Reigns recently cut a promo during a live event in Trenton where he teased that he might not be able to come back there in the future as he is working on a newer phase of his life. Here’s exactly what he said –

“I’ve been here many times, you know what I’m saying? I’ve been here a couple of times in the past 10 years. And I’m starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back here again. If that’s the case, I just wanna say thank you for all these years of support.”

This message shocked the fans around the world and they started speculating that his time in WWE is about to get over very soon. Recently, WWE’s Chief Revenue officer Nick Khan also revealed that WWE has plans to send Roman Reigns to hollywood in the future.

Well, we don’t have to worry about Reigns’ WWE future that much because he’s not committed going to Hollywood full-time as he’s signed a new WWE contract with some special conditions according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer.

He got a new deal & the new deal is for far less dates. I don’t know how many house shows he’s gonna be doing but it will be much less than the number that he’s doing now”. – Dave Meltzer

Although, according to Dave this deal enables Roman Reigns to work a much lighter schedule as he’s doing right now.

There’s not even a single person denying the fact that Roman Reigns is currently enjoying the run of his life as the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. He’s now been the champion for well over 600 days. Recently a report came out regarding the merchandise sales he’s been doing for WWE and it said that they’re “selling on Cena’s level”. It’s an absolute humongous of an achievement for a superstar who was previously hated so much by fans mainly complaining about his forced babyface gimmick.

Ever since turning heel, Roman is thrashing every single record he can break at the moment. Most recently, he became the most-searched personality on internet for the category of a sports entertainer in the month of April.

Compiling up all the things we just said about Roman Reigns, it’s pretty safe to argue that he’s the main reason behind WWE increased popularity on social media, selling out WWE live events and gaining record profits.
