“I was fined a lot of Money, so I doubled it”; Ronda Rousey takes a page out of Conor McGregor’s book and flaunts her money on Smackdown

Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor both are amazing athletes and have had a decorated UFC career. While Ronda shifted gears from MMA to WWE, McGregor still remains an essential part of the Octagon. Rousey and McGregor have exchanged conversations on social media quite a bit and have been vocal about each other’s work. The latest testament to this is McGregor’s one letter response to Ronda’s ferocious return at SmackDown this week.
To those unaware, Ronda had hijacked Liv Morgan’s and Shayna Baszler’s contract signing as she made a way to the ring with a bag in her hand. After she delivered a bold promo describing how she has been levied a hefty fine by the company and is currently suspended because of her actions at SummerSlam. She would then empty a bag full of dollars on the table before asserting that- “If being baddest is expensive then I can afford it”.
Ronda Rousey and McGregor have heaped praises on each other from time to time

Ronda even said – “I was fined a lot of Money, so I doubled it before she dumped a bag full of dollars on the table. Sharing the segment on Instagram Ronda had even captioned it with the same statement. And McGregor was quick to comment on the post and had a one letter appreciation for the Former Women’s Champion, which was- “G”. The letter G is a popular slang used to address someone as “Gangster” in modern language. While fans went crazy after noticing the response this isn’t the first the UFC maverick had appreciated Rousey.
McGregor had also congratulated Ronda when she had decided to move to WWE to begin a new chapter at the time of WrestleMania 34. McGregor had said- “I’m delighted for her. Absolutely over the moon for her, she looked like she really enjoyed herself at the event. And I was very, very happy to see her. She’s a pioneer for the game.” Ronda has also appreciated McGregor on different occasions.
One such instance was When McGregor had vowed to fight his opponent even when he had broken his leg. Ronda had tweeted- “I’m amazed that as soon as you hit the ground you were already promoting the next fight, Conor McGregor,” Rousey tweeted. “I [definitely] wouldn’t have had the mind to do that. The other fighters, UFC and media are lucky to have you.”
