“Stars on Mars” is a television series that revolves around the lives of a few astronauts who take off for Mars. WWE superstar Ronda Rousey played the role of an astronaut in the show. The former UFC star was seen shedding tears, stating the difficulties of staying away from her baby while on her Mars mission.
Ronda Rousey is currently enjoying her reign as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with fellow UFC alumni Shayna Baszler. They won the titles on a recent episode of Raw in a fatal four-way match for the vacant Tag Team titles. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan had to relinquish their titles as Morgan suffered an injury. Rodriguez tried to get the titles again with Shotzi as a new partner, who also wrestled in the four-way match.
Ronda Rousey’s new television film features twelve astronauts who go to Mars in a space ship to set up a colonization on the planet. During an episode of “Stars on Mars”, Ronda Rousey talked about the most difficult part of being on the Red Planet. She said that it was not the food, space, or claustrophobia that she suffered from; rather, it was staying away from her family, especially her daughter.
The Rowdy One revealed that this was the longest she had stayed away from her daughter, and that was the hardest thing she had done. She called it her breaking point. Being a part of the Mars mission, Ronda Rousey felt homesick and missed her daughter a lot. She was caged on a deserted planet with a group of astronauts.
While talking to her daughter on a video call, the 36-year-old could not control her tears. Ronda Rousey started crying during the call because she was missing her little baby. It was a difficult time for Rousey, as she was far away from her family on another planet. The viewers could also hear her husband consoling her and showing his support for the Rowdy One.

Ronda Rousey achieves a special feat in WWE
Being a WWE superstar has its own challenges. Being on the road for most days of the year, the fatigue and exhaustion hurt the wrestlers physically as well as mentally. Additionally, if a superstar has a family, it becomes more difficult. Multiple superstars like Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and many others have given birth to their children and still continued to wrestle in WWE on a regular basis.
Ronda Rousey gave birth to her daughter in September 2021 with her husband, Travis Browne. She made her return in WWE at the Royal Rumble in January 2022. Ever since, the Rowdy One has been a regular fixture on WWE programming. She went on to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship later in the same year.
Very few women have been able to win the Women’s Championship after giving birth to a child. Bouncing back after the physical toll childbirth takes on women to win a Championship is beyond commendable. Other women, like Becky Lynch, Asuka, Tamina Snuka, and many others, have won titles after giving birth to their children. Ronda Rousey has included her name on the list of such superstars.
