One of the most famous UFC women’s wrestlers of all time is Ronda Rousey. She was even unbeaten for a very long period in MMA and the UFC, holding the UFC Women’s World Heavyweight Championship for a total of three years in a row. She has significantly impacted the entire sports sector.
On the other side, Ronda Rousey has consistently been a prominent figure in the WWE and the Olympics. She has been unstoppable in the WWE, yet there hasn’t been a single bout when she hasn’t been involved in a roll-up or controversy, which has always resulted in her loss.

Ronda Rousey’s inspiration was her father
Ronda Rousey is inspired by her father, Ron Rousey, who was also well-known in the UFC and accomplished in his field. Unfortunately, Ron made the decision to kill himself when Ronda was quite young owing to some sad circumstances. Ronda was only eight years old at the time, and this devastated her.
Ronda never allowed herself to get weak and even was willing to fulfill her father’s wish by winning the world championship, which she achieved and did while also enjoying a successful reign as the champion. She required a lot of family support as she competed against Amanda Nunes, the current Bantamweight Champion in her first-ever main event match.
It was a highly emotional period for her, and on top of that, her mother was doing everything in her power to encourage her, which caused her to cry multiple times. Even though Ronda’s mother expressed concern for her daughter and mentioned that her father used to call her a sleeper, Ronda was never and has never been trusted by her mother.
The two of them were really close as a result of this, and Ron’s memory is very important to her; she will have her matches with all of her father’s memories and dreams. It was as like Ron knew that Ronda’s destiny was very great and she was going to realise those at some point or another.
“Ronda’s dad always said she was ‘a sleeper. We would worry about her as a kid, but Ron was never concerned. He knew she was destined for big things and he would always say that. They were very close and his memory is still very important to her.” Ronda’s Mother’s statement that day.
