The Smackdown Women’s Championship feud between Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan is officially over because Ronda is the current champion after defeating Liv in a fairly forgettable battle at the most recent WWE Premium Live event, Extreme Rules. Even though it was an Extreme Rules battle, the match did not improve.
Recently, Ronda Rousey discussed the fight and how many weren’t happy with either of the participating women since the fight wasn’t as good as it could have been. Liv isn’t that skilled in the ring and still needs a lot of work, according to Ronda, so she had anticipated this.
Ronda Rousey’s idea was straight away rejected by the WWE’s creative

According to Ronda Rousey, she had a different type of ending in mind, one that contained thumbtacks. These have been prohibited from the WWE for a while, yet they occasionally pop up on really special occasions because to how frightening they can be when used.
Ronda wanted to alter the entire finish because she wanted to recreate the Summerslam moment. However, she wanted to do it while Liv was on thumbtacks and she forced one shoulder to give her an armbar. Liv then refused to tap out and collapsed on the thumbtacks themselves, which would have created a very dramatic scene.
WWE, however, says they cannot do it since it is currently against the law to perform such acts. As a result, having someone bleed or have their skin torn is not permitted for a TV-PG product, and this type of content is typically found on TV 14, which WWE is not at the moment.
Ronda began to inquire about additional objects that are comparable to the thumbtacks because she did not interpret this as a proper no. She suggested using tiny maple leaf pins, which the WWE had also rejected, if they were unable to use thumbtacks. Ronda made one final attempt, asking how about a few little screws and other things, which the WWE also denied.
Ronda Rousey said, “Yeah, actually I pitched the finish to be on thumbtacks, Liv was to put down thumbtacks and powerbomb me onto the thumbtacks, and then, I would go for the armbar on the thumbtacks Liv would be trying not to tap and then pass out face down into the thumbtacks. But, they said we can’t do thumbtacks anymore. Legally, we can’t purposely injure people and cut their skin and stuff. I don’t know, so I was like, ‘Well, how about tiny, little maple leaf pins?’ They’re like, ‘No.’ I’m like, ‘How about a bunch of screws? There on the side, it’s the ground.’ They said, ‘Nope.’”
