Ronda Rousey is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. The current WWE star has done it all in her career, from UFC to Hollywood, and now to WWE. In everyday life, Rousey has straightforward opinions, and the ‘Arm Collector’ did not hold back her thoughts when asked about arguably the biggest NFL controversy. On January 18, 2015, the New England Patriots edged the Indianapolis Colts. 

Then Patriots’ star QB Tom Brady was alleged to order the “deflation” of Footballs used in the game. The infamous incident was termed the “Deflategate” and he was suspended for the next 4 games. Rousey had a strong answer when she was asked to give her thoughts on it.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated in 2015, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion talked about the highly debated incident. Delivering on the expectations, Ronda Rousey didn’t hold herself back. She termed that advantage with Patriots as “unfair” and even questioned the labor they did to understand themselves as qualified enough to seek that.

Before concluding, Ronda declared Tom Brady’s “Deflategate” as cheating. She said, “Well, if you’re seeking the advantage you didn’t earn, then I think it’s cheating. So if he has an advantage with the grip of the balls, the other team doesn’t have, what did he do to earn that? He doesn’t deserve to have that advantage. I think that is cheating.”

Her long-term friend Shayna Baszler has joined forces with Rousey, making her more lethal for other superstars. Last week on SmackDown, Shotzi won a 6 Pack Women Challenge and earned a title match against her.
