Ronda Rousey title win has caused a lot of tables to turn. She defeated the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules that took place in Philly. The match was much awaited by the fans all across the globe.

Liv Morgan became the Money In The Bank briefcase holder at the event where she stood out amongst the other women. Later, at the same event, she cashed in the briefcase and won the same from Ronda Rousey. Rousey and Morgan again met for a title match at SummerSlam which ended in a controversial win.

But Ronda Rousey winning the match wasn’t just to fulfill the much awaited match but to plan out a bigger image in the future for the SmackDown women’s Championship. Dave Meltzer spoke on the Wrestling Observers Radio where he revealed WWE’s plan on Rousey’s bookings.

On Ronda Rosuey’s win at Extreme Rules, Dave said, “The idea is that this was to complete the long-planned Rousey heel turn. Whether this leads to a match with now-face Becky Lynch, which was the plan for the 2023 WrestleMania 18 months ago, will become obvious soon.”

This seems quite a possible reason for the same. The WWE Universe was fed up with seeing Liv Morgan win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. She even defended the title against Shayna Baszler at the Clash At The Castle in Rousey’s absence.
