Shawn Michaels is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to set foot in the squared circle. The Heartbreak Kid is currently doing a great job managing the NXT brand. The show has become quite interesting, and there has been a surge in the ratings in recent times.
Shawn Michaels, being a wrestling genius, is the ideal person to oversee the NXT brand. The NXT Superstars expressed their gratitude for working with Shawn Michaels and getting vital advice from him.
Shawn Michaels has had an illustrious career. Michaels was the “golden boy” of the company during the nineties. Michaels was a favorite of Vince McMahon, and because of Shawn’s talent and dedication to his profession, McMahon was unwilling to fire him for his unprofessional behavior.
The company’s then-Chairman ignored Michael’s wrongdoings within the company. Shawn Michaels’ egoistic nature was quite unbearable to fellow wrestlers at the time.
During a recent edition of Grilling JR, Jim Ross stated that he received a lot of complaints from several wrestlers in regard to Shawn Michaels. Ross, who was the Head of Talent Relations during the late 1990s, said that the talents, knowing Michaels’ relationship with Vince, would also have a fallout with the then-CEO.
“I got complaints about Shawn from talents all the time. Pretty much on a daily basis……And then it runs into Vince’s judgment call and you’re basically telling Vince, ‘You’re making a huge mistake. You don’t know what you’re doing, blah, blah, blah.”

Former WWE Champion once spoke about Shawn Michaels’ egoistic nature

Back in January 2022, during an appearance on The Ringer wrestling show, Randy Orton spoke about how he shared the locker room with greats in the company. While speaking about the greats, Orton described Shawn Michaels as a despicable and contemptible person when he met him for the first time.
However, Randy Orton also stated that Michaels had changed over the years, and he too has had a similar kind of journey. Orton was also of a narcissistic nature and had his share of discipline issues during the early phase of his career. However, over the years, he changed himself significantly.
“I was lucky to have some great men in the locker room……I got to see Shawn Michaels, who, on all accounts was a complete as*hole. And when I met him, I even thought he was a pr*ck……You know, it’s part of the journey. I think my legacy is the longevity,”
