Report : WWE higher-ups pushing for Sami Zayn to get a major spot at WrestleMania 39
Sami Zayn's unimaginable ascend to WWE's biggest babyface has created an issue for the creative team. They're now forced to reassess their original plans for WrestleMania 39.

Sami Zayn is at the peak of his WWE career at the moment. He’s getting those ultra-receptive babyface reactions from the WWE Universe. Since betraying Roman Reigns and The Bloodline at Royal Rumble, The former Honorary Uce further cemented his shtick. And now it’s official, at the Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The Tribal Chief wants to embarrass Sami in front of his own family in Montreal. Needless to say, Reigns better be ready to witness that John Cena reaction against RVD from ECW: One Night Stand from 2006. There might be some posters in the crowd iterating – “If Roman wins tonight, we’re gonna riot.”
But the harsh reality is, unless some drastic creative changes, Sami Zayn will indeed lose. Roman will most likely walk out of Montreal as the Undisputed Champion. That loss will further develop a strong feeling of empathy for Zayn as a nice guy. And as known, a good section of fans has already been clamoring for the Syrian wrestler to main-event WrestleMania against Reigns.
Well, in the wake of unreal crowd backing, WWE may need to re-evaluate things. As per the latest report from Xero News, people within WWE are pushing for Sami Zayn to get a rematch against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. That being said, moving ahead with the aforementioned pitch may cause a serious trouble for WWE.

Will Sami Zayn ruin the comeback agenda of Cody Rhodes?
This may take a lot of courage for WWE. But, it’s a real big concern for the promotion. Even though it’s kind of a blessing in disguise for them, it still may have to shatter an American Dream. As known thus far, Cody Rhodes is slated to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The story has been there since Rhodes’ WWE return last year. He simply wants to virtually bestow that World Title upon his dad – Dusty Rhodes. However, here’s a problem. If WWE decides to incorporate Sami Zayn and make it a three-way matter between Reigns, Rhodes and Zayn at WrestleMania, someone has to suffer.
And most probably that man is Cody Rhodes. Considering how over Zayn’s right now, The American Nightmare might witness fans turning their back all over him. For what it’s worth, it would be the biggest heartbreak from a storyline’s perspective ever. So at the end, WWE needs to be extremely cautious and double sure as to what they’re serving for Mania.
