Sami Zayn has inscribed his name into the hearts of WWE Universe. This year, for the most part will be remembered for having class acts of the Syrian wrestler with The Bloodline. Being reluctant to prove his loyalty, Zayn kept shielding Roman Reigns and his cousins from their opponents. At Survivor Series: WarGames, the Master Strategist finally won the trust of Reigns and company, as they stood tall to close the show.
But, even before entering this Bloodline saga, Sami Zayn produced jolts of entertainment. He faced Johnny Knoxville at Wrestlemania this year. The build up to their match was unique and refreshing which mostly received positive crowd reactions. At the aforementioned event, Zayn battled Knoxville in an Anything Goes Match. Just to be clear, the match was widely praised for it’s impeccable innovation and cool spots.
The Jackass Star tried to present as many hurdles as he could. Numerous props were used including a giant mousetrap. The ending moments saw Knoxville pin his opponent while trapped in that hybrid mousetrap. The visuals felt ugly and uncomfortable on television. While speaking to The Metro, The Honorary Uce discussed that ending while praising Johnny Knoxville.
“If there’s anything you’re gonna give him a lot of credit for, it’s saving that finish. Even a very seasoned performer – if that had even gone on one or two seconds longer, it would’ve killed the whole finish and killed the whole match.”

Sami Zayn will team up with Roman Reigns on SmackDown
It doesn’t matter what’s been the case this entire year, WWE is set to end 2022 with a bang. On the forthcoming SmackDown edition, Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns will take on John Cena and Kevin Owens. This will serve as Cena’s first match of the existing year.
As been the story, Roman Reigns has become fed up of Kevin Owens. The Tribal Chief wants to end the KO problem once and for all. The hunger to make Owens’ life a living hell can prove to be catastrophic. Although Reigns is running WWE with an iron Fist at the moment, he would’ve never expected John Cena to be The Prizefighter’s tag partner.
