The Montreal crowd went bonkers after WWE set off for an iconic match between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn for the Elimination Chamber. Both superstars were involved in the company’s top storyline and received probably the loudest chants in a long time. However, Sami had to bear the consequences of his betrayal.
Reigns was able to defend his championship at the event, but it was Sami who walked off the ring with all of the audience’s love. Sami Zayn has become the lifeline of the WWE Universe since he and The Bloodline split up at the Royal Rumble. The Tribal Chief couldn’t stop assaulting Zayn even after he was adjudged the winner.
Sami Zayn recently took to Twitter to showcase the nasty scars that he received at the Primum Live Event in Montreal. Along with the picture, he wrote, “Some wounds might never heal.” Sami had been very loyal to the faction since he joined hands with it. However, the tables have now turned and the story has reached its climax.
Sami’s fans couldn’t hold themselves back and went ahead to praise the performance that he put up in the ring. The support that he has been receiving from the WWE Universe can be seen in the massive cheers that he has been receiving over time. The love that the fans have for Sami has compelled them to hate Reigns even more.

Sami received heaps of praise for his performance
It all started before the Elimination Chamber at an episode of SmackDown, where Sami received a long ovation from the fans, and ‘F**k you, Roman’ chants broke out amongst the audience. The sight was evidence of what was to follow at the Elimination Chamber.
The Montreal audience exceeded everyone’s expectations, and the former Bloodline member received overwhelming support. During the match, Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, attempted to vent his rage on Sami Zayn. Roman also went ahead and told Zayn’s wife, who was present in the audience, what Sami had done to him.
During his stay in The Bloodline, Sami has been a close associate of Roman Reigns. The two not only delivered jaw-dropping moments in the ring, but they continue to do even outside the ring. WrestleMania is hardly a month away, so there might be a new twist that the management can bring into the current storyline.
