Sasha Banks must have been out of the ring for a long time now but she never fails to give interviews. In the previous years, social media had proved to be a wonderful platform for the celebrities to connect to the audience. Since Banks is prohibited from in-ring action, she gives multiple interviews to stay in the limelight.
Sasha Banks has been away from in-ring action for over 4 months now. Her last run in the company was as a tag team along with Naomi. The two women were the proud owners of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship before they got in an argument with the management.
The two were forced to vacate the title and were suspended for an indefinite period of time. However, the two have made multiple appearances outside the ring. They have also been involved with other WWE Superstars. In a recent interview with ‘Ahch-To Radio,’ Sasha Banks revealed the behind the scenes of The Mandalorian.

Sasha Banks added a great WWE move to her on-screen action
The Mandalorian is Disney+ production that casted Sasha Banks. She played the character of Koska Reeves and was highly appreciated for her action packed scene. If the script was to be followed, she would have to deliver an “arm drag or a headlock takeover” but she added a WWE twist to the scene.
Banks recalled the shoot when she was looking at the wall thinking what else she could do. “I just took the guy by the head and was like, ”Just hold my hips, I am going to run up this wall, we are going to flip, and I am going to DDT you,‘” said Banks.
She rehearsed the move and it impressed the crew. They immediately changed the script and said that this is what they would do. She had been afraid to speak up during the shoot but there was a feeling of excitement inside the WWE Superstar when her move got an approval.
“When I finally got to do that DDT it felt so cool to bring that sense of the wrestling world to ‘Star Wars,’and to see the excitement … I was in my element,” said Sasha Banks. That one scene made her confident enough to feel that it was her realm.
Sasha Banks’ return is highly expected. The WWE Universe has given multiple hints of her return to the ring. Moreover, it has been quite a long time since she walked away. Her friend Bayley also posted throwback photos of Banks recently. One has to have patience and wait for an official confirmation from the WWE management’s side.
