There have been a lot of updates regarding the return of Sasha Banks to the WWE, but none of them have been confirmed by both parties as of yet. With The Boss slated to appear at the NJPW event next month, it’s a clear indication of where she is headed with her wrestling career.
Sasha Banks, who walked out of the WWE in May of this year along with her Tag Team partner Naomi, was spotted at numerous events after her departure. She was also spotted with some of the current WWE superstars at some events, with the most recent one being at the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Premiere. Banks was spotted alone recently at an NBA game between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. The boss, who is from Boston, was pleased with the outcome, as the Celtics won the game by a score of 137–121.
Even after the suspension, Banks is also listed on the WWE’s official site as a SmackDown Superstar. This gave a sort of assurance to fans that they may see The Boss in the WWE once again. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sasha Banks requested a pay raise to equal that of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The WWE rejected her request because they didn’t believe Banks had the ability to overtake Lynch and Flair as a top superstar in the next five years.
“She was said to be seeking a number along the levels of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and those internally have said she wasn’t offered numbers close to that. They said that she’s not seen internally as somebody who would be on top for the next five years,”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also gave an indication regarding Naomi. Meltzer said that Naomi’s future in the company still looms in the air. He said, “nothing has been said about her, We were told that she has to make a decision.”

Sasha Banks negotiated her contract back in the summer of this year
After Banks’ walkout in May, along with Naomi, she negotiated about her contract soon after her walkout. According to Fightful Select, she decided on her WWE career during the summer of this year, most likely in June. Even after this, WWE didn’t give a confirmation regarding her departure.
Sasha Banks is one of the biggest names in the wrestling industry and surely has a massive fan following in the wrestling world. Banks is one of the first, along with Charlotte Flair, to headline at a PLE. The Boss has won all of the WWE’s major women’s championships, but she still has a lot more to do.

She deserves to win at WrestleMania because her record is 0-6, and she also deserves to win the Royal Rumble because she holds the record for the longest time in the Rumble. It is unclear as of now whether fans will get to see the former Women’s Champion in the WWE again, but “Never say Never,” because who knows, she might pop up at the Royal Rumble next year.
