Sasha Banks is one of the most popular Superstars on the WWE roster. She has been with the company for a decade now and has won the WWE World Championship 6 times in her career. It has been quite some time since she has held singles title. The last time The Boss had held the title, was way back at Wrestlemania 37.

Banks had entered the 37th edition of the Showcase of Immortals as the Smackdown Women’s Champion. But in the main event of Night One she ended up losing the title to Bianca Belair. Since then, whenever she came close to getting a shot at the top Championship, she got ruled out of action for several weeks!

But the Boss made sure that she got her Wrestlemania moment this year in Dallas, Texas. Teaming up with Naomi, Sasha Banks collided with three other Tag Team for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. At Wrestlemania Sunday, she pinned Carmella to win the Tag Team titles – for third time in her career!

Sasha Banks wants to follow Dwayne Johnson’s footspteps

Sasha Banks is also part of the hit Disney+ show, The Mandalorian, where she plays the role of Koska Reeves. It isn’t hard to notice that she has followed the footsteps of John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who’ve successfully switched careers from professional wrestling to Hollywood. “That’s the standard. You have John Cena, you have The Rock, and it’s like… Where is that woman’s name next to it?” – Banks had questioned during an appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast.

Paul pointed out Banks was working on WWE and The Mandalorian simultaneously. To which she responded – “Yes I am. It’s kind of really hard to do with the WWE schedule. I mean, when I shot The Mandalorian last year it went from doing TV, doing live events, then getting on a plane and going to LA – shooting all week… For three months.”
