The breakup of the Shield in 2014 was one of the biggest moments in professional wrestling. It was the end of an era and a new dawn for the careers of its members. Although Seth Rollins, who pulled the trigger to break the Shield, was heavily criticized, It seems the Visionary himself has no regrets for betraying his brother-in-arms.
In an interview on GQ, Seth Rollins talked about a steel chair as being one of his 10 essentials. During that, he mentioned that he had no regrets about the Shield’s breakup. He called it a shift in the business. It was a pivotal moment for the members, as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins all saw rapid growth from there on.

In an interview on The DC & RC Show, the Visionary stated that he does not want someone like CM Punk to ruin WWE. He added that Punk has been selfish throughout his career and has shown hostile behavior. Therefore, the Second City Saint does not deserve a piece of WWE’s success.
