Seth Rollins topped the 2023 Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) list of the best wrestlers of the year. Moreover, the Visionary is joined by his former Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley, who have come in second and third, respectively. The Shield is regarded as one of the greatest factions of this generation. As a result, Seth Rollins recently reacted to the revelation of the list on his X account.

The 37-year-old posted a picture of the Hounds of Justice’s signature fist bump. Evidently, Rollins promulgated that the Shield will always dominate the industry. Despite working separately, the stable is at the top of the mountain in the wrestling business. In fact, all three former members are currently champions on their respective shows.

Roman Reigns is the longest-reigning World Champion of the century, having held the Undisputed WWE Universal title for more than 1,100 days and counting. Furthermore, Seth Rollins holds the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley became the AEW International Champion a few weeks earlier. Needless to say, it is hard to argue against them being the top three wrestlers in the world.

Since their debut on the main roster in 2012, the WWE Universe has always seen The Shield as future main event stars. Expectedly, all three men became Grand Slam Champions within the next six years. Fans can definitely expect Rollins, Reigns, and Moxley to continue their supremacy in the wrestling industry for the foreseeable future.

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura has escalated over the past few weeks. This started with the latter targeting Seth’s back. As a result, the newly reformed King of Strong Style viciously attacked the World Heavyweight Champion on several occasions. Recently, Seth Rollins opened up about how his back has been holding up.

While appearing on The Bump, he commented on the risks taken while wrestling with an injured back. “I don’t want to risk my future. I don’t want to put myself in a position where it’s going to be difficult for me to have a life with my family in the future,” said the Visionary.

Previously, Rollins had revealed he had put off surgery on his back for the past year or so. Therefore, Nakamura took advantage of the situation and promised to brutalize his rival. As of now, it seems that a rematch between the two is most likely to transpire at the upcoming premium live event, Fastlane.
