WWE Superstar Seth Rollins “hating” football has become a storyline of its own since the start of the new NFL season. As many fans might know, he has a love-hate relationship with the Chicago Bears. Unfortunately, the team has started the season with four consecutive losses. Their latest loss came against the Denver Broncos on Sunday night.
As a result, Rollins posted his customary three-word message on his X account. However, this time the Visionary added a string of “crying-laughter” emojis to the message. Therefore, implying that the start of the Bears’ season has been a joke. Moreover, the team currently sits at the bottom of the NFC North table.
Seth Rollins has mentioned his love for the sport in previous interviews as well. Furthermore, he revealed that he would love to be an NFL analyst once he retires from professional wrestling. While speaking with Sports Illustrated, the World Heavyweight Champion claimed that he’s all about talking about football whenever he gets the chance.
“I would love to parlay into working with the NFL in some capacity. I’m just such a fan, and it’s one of my only other real passions that I have time for. If anybody wants to have me on their show, I would love it,” added Seth. Currently, the former Shield member is feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura as he prepares to square off against him in a Last Man Standing match at Fastlane.
Vince Russo believes that Seth Rollins will lose at Fastlane
Vince Russo is regarded as one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling. The ex-WWE writer is well-known for his explosive statements online. Recently, he addressed his opinion on the upcoming fight between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane during an episode of Sportskeeda’s Writing with Russo.
According to Russo, the Visionary may take time off to spend time with his family. As a result, he might end up losing his World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming PLE. Moreover, Nakamura’s character change also plays a factor, as he is arguably going through his best run on the main roster.
“So, if that’s a fact and they are putting over Shinsuke Nakamura, they have already set up his first opponent. Ricochet,” said Vince Russo. Needless to say, the Last Man Standing bout between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura will be an interesting watch for the WWE Universe.
