Seth Rollins shoots on Roman Reigns for being a part-time World Champion, explains the need to introduce a secondary World Championship
The Visionary Seth Rollins has opened up on the need to introduce the World Heavyweight Championship in WWE, citing Roman Reigns as the reason.
Seth Rollins has once again lashed out on Roman Reigns (via- WWE)
Once again, Seth Rollins isn’t happy with Roman Reigns’ ideologies. In recent months, The Visionary has openly expressed his dissatisfaction with his former Shield brother for being a part-time Champion. That spark caught fire quite recently as Rollins spoke about Reigns in a recent podcast.
Speaking on Ryan Satin’s “Out of Character” podcast, Seth Rollins explained why they had to introduce the World Heavyweight Championship on Monday Night Raw. Roman Reigns appears barely on WWE shows. Moreover, his title defense count has decreased rapidly. He last put his Undisputed WWE Universal Title on the line at WrestleMania 39 against Cody Rhodes, excluding house shows.
Highlighting the exact issue, Seth affirmed that there was a need for someone to step up and do what Reigns has been avoiding. It is one of those times where the lines between kayfabe and actual self are often blurred. Somewhere deep down, The Architect may have a grudge against The Tribal Chief. The World Heavyweight Champion claimed that he’s happy to be that full time guy for the company.
Having a World Champion on the show who actually shows up to work each week helps a lot. It’s quite necessary for the overall bolstering of existing rosters. Rollins emphasized the same during the interview and is ecstatic to help other names catapult to superstardom. For those wondering whether Reigns and Rollins will have another match in WWE or not, it’s inevitable. That’s bound to happen somewhere down the road.
Seth Rollins has a Finn Balor problem looming around
Ever since capturing the gold at Night of Champions, Seth Rollins has been dealing with The Judgment Day. More specifically, it’s Finn Balor. The two have been at loggerheads and can’t stand each other. At Money in the Bank, The Visionary successfully defended his World Heavyweight Title against The Prince. However, Balor thinks that his Judgment Day buddy, Damian Priest, actually cost him the match.
To address the issue, Finn Balor opened Raw this week. However, he was quickly shut down by Rhea Ripley, who assured him that the problems would be resolved soon. Backstage, Balor and Priest eventually put their differences aside after Mr. Money in the Bank agreed to let Balor have another shot at Rollins.
That being said, it’s clear that Finn Balor isn’t done yet with The Architect. For sure, they’re going to battle it out one more time, quite possibly at SummerSlam. However, things are more interesting with Damian Priest holding that briefcase. There’s something fishy with The Archer of Infamy. He’s apparently fine with Balor. However, fans should keep themselves ready in case there’s a swerve coming.
