Seth “Freakin” Rollins has become an integral part of WrestleMania this year. Not only because he is the World Heavyweight Champion but also because of his unexpected alliance with Cody Rhodes. The Visionary will defend his coveted title against Drew McIntyre on Night 2 of WrestleMania. However, 24 hours earlier, he will team up with his former arch-rival and take on The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The four Superstars faced off in the main event of SmackDown this week. The segment got heated when they took shots at each other. Rocky repeatedly called Rollins a “walking clown emoji” and later called Rhodes, “his father’s mistake.” The Revolutionary asked The Great One to shut up and called him a “mid-life crisis,” signaling his old age.

Furthermore, The Architect mentioned how The Brahma Bull is interjecting himself into the WWE despite not being in his prime. As such, the World Champ asked The People’s Champion to stop taking away their spotlights. In response, The Rock called him a “piece of sh*t”.
Rollins and Rhodes returned to SmackDown to accept the challenge laid out by The Rock last week. Despite having the odds stacked against them, the duo of rivals-turned-allies have accepted the challenge. Therefore, the match is official to go down on Night 1 of WrestleMania. If The Bloodline loses, they will be barred from Reigns vs. Rhodes II the next night; otherwise, the match will be “Bloodline Rules.”
Is The Rock vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins happening sometime in the future?
Since the beginning of the Rock-Reigns-Rhodes-Rollins fiasco, Seth Rollins has continuously taken shots at the Hollywood actor. He has continuously compared himself with the WWE legend and criticized his return. The 37-year-old Superstar even coined a new nickname for Rock, “Diarrhea Dwayne.” During their segment on SmackDown, fans were seen chanting “Diarrhea” when Rocky was speaking.

Recently, various reports surfaced claiming the 51-year-old star is staying longer than expected after the WrestleMania XL match. Furthermore, another report revealed WWE was planning to return to Saudi Arabia around May of this year to hold a big PLE. As a result, it was unveiled that WWE higher ups are pushing to have the highest-paid actor perform at the Saudi PLE.
More importantly, it was reported that WWE will indeed have Rock vs. Reigns happen despite not getting the green light at WrestleMania XL. Therefore, fans speculate that the time and place are the Middle East PLE as of now. However, WWE might swerve fans and have Rollins wrestle Rock. Only time will tell whether WWE is indeed planning a match between the two or not.
