WrestleMania 40 is set to be a spectacular event. The show is heading up to be one great extravaganza. However, for WWE Superstars, the plans for the event have been uncertain. According to some new reports, Seth Rollins is no longer slated to be part of the main event of WrestleMania. In fact, Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch are pitched to headline the show.

According to Xero News, as of now, The Man and Mami are scheduled for main event night 1 of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. Although there are some pitches for the World Title to close out the show. However, after the injury to CM Punk, it is less likely. Moreover, in order for Seth Rollins to be the main event, he needs a headliner-worthy opponent heading to the show.

Besides, there have been a number of pitches for a possible triple threat match for the World Title at WrestleMania. Therefore, WWE might go for some stars moving from Raw to SmackDown. One highly likely star to head to the Blue brand is Jey Uso. In return for Jey, Raw might get a few worthy challengers for the championship at the Showcase of Immortals.

Moreover, the stars are all aligning gradually to shape up the card for the Grandest Stage of Them All. It is going to be interesting to see which WWE superstars step up for an opportunity at WrestleMania this year. Only time will tell how Seth Rollins will have a challenger determined before the show.

Booker T doesn’t want Gunther vs. Seth Rollins at WrestleMania

An emerging name to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania is “Ring General” Gunther. He has declared that he is next in line to face The Visionary. However, it looks like Booker T is not in line with the plan for a match between Seth Rollins and Gunther at WrestleMania.

Speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T stated that Gunther does not need a spotlight on the WrestleMania main event to solidify himself. He added that an emerging star should get that spot. The WWE Hall of Famer went on to say that the Ring General has cemented his legacy as the Intercontinental Champion.

I don’t like booking the show or anything but I just don’t think Gunther needs the rub right now. He has established himself so well with the Intercontinental Championship, he doesn’t need the world title right now. Whoever gets that spot, they’re going to be getting a rub and you got to make sure you do that right because, like I said, doing with Gunther, you’re doing it with a made man already.

Seth Rollins has no opponent as of now. He laid out a challenge to Cody Rhodes this Monday on Raw. Only time will tell where the future of the World Heavyweight Champion is headed from here on out.
