The wrestling business is currently experiencing a boom not seen in almost 20 years. Not just WWE, but AEW is doing better than they have ever done in their history. Therefore, several superstars are getting the opportunity to shine and deserve the spotlight. Similar to AEW World Champion MJF, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently gave his take on the boom.

While talking on After The Bell with Corey Graves, Rollins said, “We are in the boom. You have to understand that there is another company that just put 80,000 people in a stadium for one night. A week before that, we sold 90,000 tickets to WrestleMania, breaking the all-time gate on the first day.” The Visionary also added that the rosters across both companies have some of the finest talents.

Rollins also said that his thoughts do not disrespect the legends who came before him. That was because, according to him, he stands on the shoulders of the legends and greats of the industry. The World Heavyweight Champion said that the business has been bigger than ever, and this is a good thing for both fans and wrestlers.

For fans, they have more than one option to choose from when it comes to choosing their wrestling. On the other hand, wrestlers and talent have more opportunities to showcase their skills and reach a wider audience. Due to this, multiple stars, treated not well in WWE, got the chance to perform on top in AEW.

For the past few months, WWE has been struggling to book its women’s division. The women have not been showcased to their full potential. This resulted in multiple matches canceled or dropped from the events that WWE hosted in the past few months. While talking on After The Bell, Corey Graves, and Seth Rollins talked about the women’s division and what can be done to fix it.

Rollins said that the main event match between Zoey Stark and Becky Lynch was a testament to what the women in WWE can do. Therefore, he feels they deserve a better chance to showcase their talents in front of fans. He said, “I felt like Monday was a huge reminder of what they’re capable of. I’m going to be frank with you; they haven’t been showcased as well as they could have been over the past six months or so.”
