Seth Rollins is on a dream run as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion and is feuding with The Judgment Day. But this was not the case last summer when he feuded with Matt Riddle. Speaking about this rivalry on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, The Visionary shed light on his real-life beef with Riddle. He revealed how he once dragged Riddle’s personal issues out and took a shot at him during a promo on RAW.
Logan Paul asked Seth Rollins about the time when he mentioned Matt Riddle’s ongoing divorce in a promo on RAW. Replying to this, he said that he does not think of it much but feels nice about how he used that thing in his promo. Rollins explained that his real-life beef with The Original Bro was fueled up by that unfiltered promo. Besides, it worked out in their favor by creating that viral moment on live television.
The Visionary then stated that things are fine now, and they have sorted it out and are working as professionals now. Rollins added that Matt Riddle apologized to him and mended fences with him. The Visionary stated himself to be not someone who writes somebody off and hates them forever. Rollins added that he is always willing to move forward, especially when Riddle came up as a big man and apologized for their sake.
Rollins and Riddle’s rivalry took off in Money in the Bank 2022 where they were involved in the ladder match. They were set to have a match at SummerSlam, but it got postponed due to Riddle’s difficulties. Their official match at Clash at the Castle saw Rollins pick up the win in a classic match in Wales. Their final showdown came at Extreme Rules event, where Matt came out as the winner inside a Fight Pit.

Seth Rollins defends his title against Finn Balor in a rematch at SummerSlam

The Judgment Day will look to have all the gold by the end of SummerSlam. Finn Balor will challenge Seth Rollins for his World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch from their previous encounter at Money in the Bank.
This match will recall their seven-year-old encounter at the Biggest Party of the Summer. The only difference is the venue of the encounter and the prize for which they will be squaring off. This match is much more likely to bring on Finn Balor‘s demonic persona, as it was last seen at WrestleMania 39.
Rhea Ripley is the reigning Women’s World Champion. Dominik Mysterio has just been crowned the NXT North American Champion and can barely lose it at the coming event on NXT. On the other hand, Damian Priest has the ultimate opportunity to get a title in his hands sooner.
