Logan Paul made his foray into the wrestling industry with a bang. When he made his WWE debut last year, the WWE Universe hadn’t expected that he would be facing Roman Reigns one day. Paul’s breakthrough and best match of his wrestling career as of now came last month when he faced Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship.
The match was a slap in the face to Paul’s haters, as he proved them wrong. It had all the aspects of what sports entertainment needs to be. The respect for Logan Paul increased more as his performance in the match was just phenomenal, with the dive on the announce table being executed after a MCL tear. This clearly demonstrated the Maverick’s commitment to his craft.
Shawn Michaels, who trained Logan Paul, has heaped praise on him. During a recent interview with the Notsam Wrestling podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said Logan Paul is a high achiever and he understands this industry. Michaels commended Paul for his commitment to WWE despite his hectic schedule. He said that The Maverick contributed his time and effort to this, demonstrating his admiration for WWE.
“He’s just got such a real drive. He understands. He’s a bright kid. He understands [that] ‘I’m an outsider. They’re gonna take me this way……He’s another person again, I guess you could arguably say he doesn’t need to be choosing to do this. But he is and he has a great deal of respect for it. I think that’s what really helps as well.”

Logan Paul has expressed a strong interest in facing John Cena

While the MCL tear usually takes six weeks to heal, fans may expect Logan Paul to be back before WrestleMania 39. Eventually, it depends on how much time it takes for Paul to recover. John Cena is slated to appear on this year’s final edition of SmackDown. The final edition of SmackDown will air on December 30th at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.
The Cenation leader is also speculated to have a match at WrestleMania 39. His appearance on SmackDown on December 30th suggests that this is a build up to his WrestleMania 39 match.
With rumors swirling that John Cena will be fighting at WrestleMania 39, Paul has expressed interest in facing him. During a recent edition of Impaulsive Podcast, Paul claimed that a match between him and Cena would break the internet. He said that he has texted Triple H about it and expects him to give him the opportunity as his birthday present on April 1st.

“I mean, truthfully, I think me vs. John Cena would break the internet. I texted Triple H right away, ‘do you want to break the internet again?’ That’s a dream matchup, dude: at WrestleMania, in LA, on my birthday. Triple H, throw me a bone, give me a birthday present, let me take out John Cena. And that’d be crazy.”
Logan Paul and John Cena would be an epic affair at WrestleMania 39. Given what fans witnessed Paul deliver at Crown Jewel, they certainly expect it to be a great match. This might also be Cena’s final run in the WWE, but as they say, “Never say Never,” so who knows, fans might get to see more of Cena in the future.
