Shayna Baszler has had a very successful run at the company. She has tasted the championship both in NXT and WWE. One can easily make it through her attitude that she is here to stay for a long time. Her tag team was very successful in clinching the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Currently she is preparing herself to win her first ever WWE Women’s Championship in the main roster.
Shayna Baszler has faced many superstars such as Sasha Banks, Doudrop and Rhea Ripley in her career and has proved her dominance in all. She is also quite an outspoken person and speaks up whatever she feels like. Being involved with Becky Lynch, she was massively hated for her remarks she made on Lynch.
Becky Lynch did not say anything on Shayna Baszler’s comments
The story goes back to 2020 when Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler were the part of the main women’s storyline of the company. Lynch was able to retain the title against Baszler at the Premium Live Events. Later, Becky took leave from the ring revealing that she was pregnant in real life. She relinquished her title and Asuka became the new WWE RAW Women’s Champion. This angered Shayna and she had nothing but critisism for Lynch.
Shayna Baszler was in one of the episodes of ‘The Bump’ where she expressed how unhappy she was with Becky Lynch for dropping the title. “I think it’s garbage. She had responsibilities to uphold as ‘the champion’ of the division. Don’t leave the division in an uproar and then hand your title away to whoever you feel. It’s ridiculous,” said Shayna Baszler. She even went ahead to say, “Everyone is like, ‘Oh, that’s so wonderful. Blah, blah, blah.’ But, if that was your daughter, you would smack her upside the head and be like, ‘You need to be smarter‘.”
The former WWE Women’s Champion did not react to the statement passed about her personal life. She was busy building up her real life connections. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins has to get married soon but due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation going all across the world, it had to be postponed. The couple finally married in August, 2021. Their daughter who they named as Roux was born on 4 December 2020. The couple recently revealed the face of their daughter and she has taken the social media bon storm.
Becky Lynch finally returned back to the ring in 2021. She was recently involved with Bianca Belair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship until Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky returned to the ring. On the other hand Shayna will face Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s Championship at the Clash At The Castle this Saturday. The celebrities have all moved on with their life but the stain os statement still lies persistent.
