Sonya Deville’s latest Tweet regarding the Post-Vince McMahon ERA garners huge attention
Sonya Deville has her say on current state in WWE
Sonya Deville is one of the most talked about names in WWE programming over the last few years. Deville returned to the company last year on New Year’s Eve Smackdown after she was forced to leave WWE on a short-term basis following her loss to Mandy Rose at Summerslam 2020 in a Loser Leaves match but the stipulation couldn’t kept Sonya away from the company for long. Ever since her return, the former MMA athlete began acting like a WWE official alongside Adam Pearce which later turned into a villainous mind and then she started abusing her powers unnecessarily on anyone she wished to.
Adam and Sonya were having a opposing thoughts on almost everything they’re upto for running the shows. This year in May, the conspiracies finally ended and the upper management decided to scrap all the powers away from Sonya Deville as she was ruthlessly abusing them. She even lost a series of matches against Alexa Bliss following the announcement on Monday Night Raw. After that, she disappeared from television until she ended up being on Smackdown few week back.
Last week Deville competed in a Gauntlet match for earning a shot at Liv Morgan’s Smackdown Women’s Championship at Clash at the Castle, however she lost. As of now, Deville will team up with Natalya to take on the NXT 2.0 duo of Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark next week on Smackdown as part of the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Sonya Deville is highly optimistic of the current state in WWE
The Vince McMahon retirement story has to be one of the biggest events in the history of professional wrestling as nobody couldn’t even imagined that it would be happening anytime soon but damn those s*x scandal allegations played a major role in downsizing the role of McMahon in the company and led to his eventual departure. Fans were legitimately excited to know what’s next for them under the new leadership of Triple H and so as been many WWE talents themselves.
Sonya Deville also tweeted out to what felt like her real assessment of the current situation in WWE which is general has been said to be positive than ever. The tweet simply said – “Things are pretty cool rn”. As reported earlier, Hunter is adamant on making WWE great once again and he’s already keen to work in the right direction for that.
