WrestleMania 39 is less than two months away from delivering one hell of an event to the audience. WWE’s most important premium live event will take place on April 1 and 2, 2023, at the SoFi Stadium in California. The hype of the matches has started to build, and fans are equally excited for any inside news that might pop up before the event.
Recently, Xero News took to their official Twitter account to break out multiple stories regarding the events planned for Night 1 of WrestleMania 39. The PLE is a two-day event that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats at all times. Night 1 of WrestleMania is important to predict the excitement level for the final night of PLE.
Xero News cited, “Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship is planned for Night 1 of WrestleMania 39.” With Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns meeting for the WWE championship, the Women’s Championship would definitely step in to grace the first night of the event.
However, it is still unclear if Rhea and Charlotte will main event WrestleMania 39’s Night 1. The Usos will also be going against the duo of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Considering the current storyline involving Sami Zayn, the match might be the perfect fit to conclude Night 1 of WrestleMania 39.

Possibility of John Cena stepping into the ring at WrestleMania 39
This year’s ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All’ goes with the tagline, – ‘WrestleMania goes Hollywood.’ When it comes to Hollywood, John Cena, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson are the two names that have achieved the most. This gives the two celebrities even more reason to attend the event.
There have been rumors of John Cena going against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39. The latter has often been compared to the Leader Of Cenation. It would be incredible to see John Cena return on or before WrestleMania. Cena has a massive fan base, and his presence would make the event even more special for the fans.
Xero News mentioned again that Cena and Theory will take control of the stage on Night 1 of WrestleMania, further strengthening the case for Cena’s return. John Cena last appeared in the WWE ring on the final SmackDown episode of 2022, teaming up with Kevin Owens to face Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
